The Community Development Technologies Center (CDTech) will like to donate 300 computers systems to families and small businesses to help close the digital divide in the Vernon-Central community of South Los Angeles.
CDTech's received the award for it's work to help close the Digital and Economic Divide in the South L.A. community of Vernon-Central. CDTech's TechREADY program increases the competitiveness of Vernon-Central youth and families through technology skills and jobs to close the digital divide and strengthen the local and regional economy.
Twenty-three GreenCorps graduates from South L.A. ages 21 to 24 completed their training in December bringing our total of GreenCorps graduates since the summer to 70! The GreenCorps is an entry-level green jobs career pathways training program.
