Programs

Together with the Los Angeles Trade Technical College (LATTC), CDTech Center offers a range of education and training programs that cater to different needs and interests.

SNHU's School of Community Economic Development, Los Angeles Center

Southern New Hampshire University’s School of Community Economic Development (SCED), in collaboration with CD-Tech , is offering its 20-month National Weekend Master’s Program (NWMP) in the newly established SCED-Los Angeles Center. The NWMP is designed for working professionals interested in gaining the credentials and skills to empower communities to become more stable and achieve greater ownership over resources. Community Planning and Economic Development

Los Angeles Trade-Technical College is the only accredited community college in the U.S. to confer Associate in Arts degrees and Certificate of Completion in Community Planning and Mortgage Finance. The Community and Economic Development Department (CED Dept) provides students with interdisciplinary education and training programs involving real estate, banking, finance, business, labor studies, community organizing, architecture, and construction.

Wealth & Home Ownership (WHO) Initiative

CDTech’s Wealth & Home Ownership (WHO) Initiative delivers a cost-effective, efficient, and comprehensive suite of financial services to help Los Angeles’ workers become banked, improve their credit, grow their assets, and buy and keep their homes.

Mortgage Finance

The Los Angeles Trade Technical College Mortgage Finance Program is an exciting opportunity! Supported by the Fannie Mae Foundation and the Los Angeles mortgage lending and housing community development industry, CDTech created this innovative program to provide a broad array of career opportunities in home mortgage and community lending with the major objective of increasing the number of minority professionals in the field.

Customized Training

We create programs that suit your organization's needs, training neighborhood leaders, non-profit organizations, government agency staff and citizen planners on a range of CED skills.

Community Building Institute

CDTech regularly offers short-term workshops in community economic development for community leaders, community development practitioners, and public and private sector representatives. Our workshops build skills in four major areas: (1) nonprofit real estate development, (2) business and the labor force development, (3) community organizing and human resources, and (4) organizational development.
